This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve covering a stainless steel shaft. The assembly utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents circulating fluid from contacting the shaft and operates at a maximum pressure of 125 PSI. An internal wear ring maintains hydraulic performance within the volute. The mechanical seal consists of ceramic seat halves with EPT rubber components, suitable for system temperatures up to 250°F.
The system utilizes a 10 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis grounding, powered by 200-230V / 3PH electricity, with a DOE PEI of 0.46. The S in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
