This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The bearing frame includes greasable bearings, and the casing provides pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections for monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure with a 326 T-frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base featuring an integral drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This pump has a PEI value of 0.92.
