This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a removable bronze shaft sleeve that prevents contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and a rear pullout design to facilitate maintenance without disturbing system piping. A top center line discharge orientation is provided to reduce piping strain and assist with self-venting.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor in a 184 JM frame with an ODP enclosure. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH electrical service with across-the-line starting. The motor frame includes feet for mounting, and the unit complies with NEMA standards. This pump meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements and has a PEI rating of 0.87.
