This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings and flush seal line taps.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 30 HP WEG premium efficiency motor. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply and features an ODP enclosure on a NEMA 286 T-frame. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets MG1-12.55 standards. The assembly uses a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. This equipment is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and features a CCW rotation. The unit has a PEI of 0.93.
