This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The assembly uses a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a bronze wear ring. The mechanical seal is comprised of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This unit is powered by a 7-1/2 HP, 1750 RPM WEG motor in a 213 NEMA T-frame with a TEFC enclosure. It operates on 230-460/60/3 power and uses a Woods coupler for the drive connection. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The motor features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. This pump has a PEI value of 0.91 and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
