This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction connection and a 2-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It uses a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The design incorporates a greasable bearing frame and a dry shaft configuration to prevent fluid contact with the pump shaft.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP, 200V, 60Hz, 3PH Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 213T frame. It utilizes across the line starting and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.88 and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55.
