This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly incorporates a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to maintain the dry shaft design. The mechanical seal utilizes a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F for clean water applications. Pressure tappings are located on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP Baldor ODP motor in a 215 T frame. The power requirement is 230-460/60/3 PH, with an across the line starting configuration and a 40°C ambient rating. The motor is premium efficiency, meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This model maintains a DOE PEI of 0.91 and is configured for counter-clockwise rotation.
