This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge connections, utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly features a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. A bronze wear ring is integrated into the casing.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 145 T-frame. The motor is configured for 230-460V/60/3PH power and across-the-line starting. The system includes a Woods coupler and AEGIS shaft grounding to manage electrical discharge. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. This unit is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and maintains a PEI value of 0.87.
