This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction port and a 4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump is constructed with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design permits servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor. It is configured with an ODP enclosure and a 215 JM motor frame style with feet. This unit supports a 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply and utilizes across the line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding for electrical protection. The product operates within a 40 °C ambient environment and has a PEI value of 0.92.
