This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge. The unit includes a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at 250 °F. The pump is configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges and includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 256T frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 PH with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard using a Woods coupler. The unit has a PEI of 0.95.
