This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The pump includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit incorporates a rear pullout design for servicing, a top center line discharge, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is configured with a 15 HP WEG motor, operating at 1750 RPM with a TEFC enclosure. It is powered by 230-460/60/3 and uses a JM frame style with feet. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature, uses across the line starting, and maintains a PEI of 0.94.
