This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the pump shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are integrated into the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
This pump is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for 230-460/60/3 power supply. The motor operates at 1150 RPM and uses a NEMA 284 T frame. It features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard housing a Woods coupler. The system is configured for across the line starting and operates within a 40 °C ambient temperature range.
