This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 9-1/2" diameter stainless steel impeller and a cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring. The pump incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve, following a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber handles operating temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are included at the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured with a 215T NEMA frame and operates on 200V, 3PH, 60Hz power using an across-the-line starting method. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. The pump includes AEGIS shaft grounding and utilizes greasable bearings within the bearing frame. This unit meets NEMA standards and has a pump efficiency index (PEI) of 0.88.
