This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and features flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 100 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 405T frame. It is configured for a 460/60/3 power supply and uses across the line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that features an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This model has a DOE PEI rating of 0.93.
