This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The internal design incorporates a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump construction supports a center-line discharge configuration for air venting and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor with a TEFC enclosure, mounted on a NEMA 326 frame. It is configured for 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. The pump assembly is secured to a welded structural steel base that includes a drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This model is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI of 0.9 and an HI energy rating of 10. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding.
