This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, a stainless steel shaft, and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The unit incorporates a bronze wear ring and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The design includes pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections and utilizes a dry shaft configuration.
The pump is driven by a 10 HP, 1150 RPM Baldor ODP premium efficiency motor in a NEMA 256T frame. It operates on 230-460V/60/3PH power with across the line starting and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a coupler guard protecting a standard Woods coupler. The system utilizes a bearing frame with greasable bearings and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
