This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring housed within a cast iron casing. The unit utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. A mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and Viton rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are provided at the suction and discharge connections for monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor in a NEMA 324 T frame with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. The system utilizes greasable bearings and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. This pump meets NEMA MG1-12.55 efficiency standards and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.9.
