This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 4" suction and 3" discharge connections utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller and a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump is configured with a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The bearing frame houses greasable bearings and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The pump is powered by a 20 HP, 1750 RPM WEG TEFC motor in a 256 NEMA T-frame style. It operates on 230-460/60/3 electrical power with an across the line starting configuration. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a standard Woods coupler with a guard. The motor is rated for 40 °C ambient conditions and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This model includes AEGIS shaft grounding and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
