This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design with a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. It is equipped with a mechanical seal featuring a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes a rear pull-out design for service access, as well as integrated flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is configured with a 15 HP Baldor motor in a 254 JM frame style with feet. It operates at 3450 RPM and features a TEFC enclosure. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The pump design includes a top center-line discharge to assist with piping layouts and reduce strain. It is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.9.
