This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly includes a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are included on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP, Baldor premium efficiency motor in a NEMA 254 T-frame with an ODP enclosure. The electrical configuration supports a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets MG1-12.55 standards. This assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard guard. The pump has a PEI value of 0.9 and is rated for 40 °C ambient operating conditions.
