This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly utilizes a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal constructed with a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This assembly is rated for operation in fluid temperatures up to 250 °F and includes flush seal line taps along with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The unit is powered by a 7-1/2 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor TEFC motor mounted on a NEMA 213 T frame. It operates on a 230-460/60/3 power supply with an across the line starting configuration and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump is secured to a welded structural steel base that features an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard for the included Woods coupler. This configuration maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.86.
