This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter. It includes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on both suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
The unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor TEFC motor mounted on a 326 TS NEMA frame. It is configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is installed on a welded structural steel base that incorporates an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a standard coupler guard. The pump is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI value of 0.9.
