This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and integrates a dry shaft mechanical seal design. This seal configuration incorporates a ceramic seat with EPT rubber and operates at a maximum pressure of 125 PSI. The pump construction facilitates service without the disruption of system piping, as the casing integrates gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections along with a drain port.
The motor is a 30 HP Premium Efficiency ODP motor operating at 1750 RPM, which integrates Aegis Grounding and runs on 380-460V / 3PH power. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD holds an enclosure NEMA 1 / IP 21 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
