This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge connection, both compliant with ANSI Class 125 standards. The unit includes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller certified to NSF61. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the pump shaft. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump is designed with a rear pullout structure and top centerline discharge, and it includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections along with flush seal line taps.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor. It is configured with a 213 JM motor frame style with feet and a TEFC enclosure. The electrical input is 230-460/60/3PH, with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. This model maintains a DOE PEI of 0.92.
