This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve to facilitate a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. This pump is designed for clean water applications and incorporates pressure tappings at both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP, 230-460/60/3 ODP Baldor motor on a NEMA 215T frame. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and greasable bearings. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA using a Woods standard coupler. The system features a DOE PEI rating of 0.85 and utilizes across-the-line starting.
