This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge. The internal construction includes a 9-1/2" diameter bronze impeller, a bronze wear ring, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump design includes flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a slip-on shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. A rear pullout configuration allows for servicing without disconnecting the system piping.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor. It is configured with a 213 JM motor frame style with feet and a TEFC enclosure with a drip cover. The motor electrical specifications are 230-460V/60/3PH with AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards (MG1-12.55) and features a PEI rating of 0.84. It uses an across-the-line starting option and is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature.
