This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with an integrated bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft, supporting operation at temperatures up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are located at the suction and discharge connections, and the casing features a center-line discharge configuration.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor mounted on a NEMA 254T frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across the line starting. The assembly includes a welded base with an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The motor features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. This pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.93.
