This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge, both equipped with pressure tappings. The internal assembly utilizes an 11" nominal diameter impeller and a bronze, slip-on shaft sleeve designed to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components. The unit operates in clean water at temperatures up to 300°F and utilizes a rear pullout design to allow servicing without disturbing system piping. Flush seal line taps are provided for the installation of external filters.
The pump is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 254JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting configuration. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The configuration features a top center-line discharge and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. This unit conforms to NEMA standards and has a PEI value of 0.86.
