This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a mechanical seal comprised of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding device. This specific configuration does not include a wear ring.
The pump is driven by a 15 HP, 1750 RPM, TEFC Baldor motor in a 254 T-frame enclosure. It operates on a 230-460/60/3 power supply and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It uses a Woods coupler and includes greasable bearings for the frame. This equipment is rated for 40°C ambient conditions and features a counter-clockwise rotation as standard. The pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
