This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze and includes a bronze wear ring and bronze shaft sleeve. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent fluid contact, a rear pullout configuration, and a top center line discharge. A mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components seals the assembly, operating at temperatures up to 250 °F. Flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections are included for system maintenance and monitoring.
This unit is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a 284JM frame style with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 380/60/3 power supply with an across the line starting configuration. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA standards and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. This pump carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.89 and features ANSI Class 125 flanges.
