This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve that prevents the shaft from contacting the system fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump is equipped with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and it is rated for temperatures up to 250°F.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in a JM frame with feet. It features an ODP enclosure, a 40°C ambient rating, and conforms to NEMA standards. The unit is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump assembly has a PEI of 0.9 and is configured for counter-clockwise rotation.
