This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly consists of a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve with a mechanical seal comprised of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump is suitable for operation with clean water up to 300°F and includes a bronze wear ring. The dry shaft design prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the internal pump shaft.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 5 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 184T frame. It requires a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. The configuration includes across the line starting, an AEGIS shaft grounding ring, and a Woods coupler. The pump is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, and the pump maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
