This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. The internal construction includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that eliminates contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The unit is configured with a mechanical seal consisting of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components, suitable for clean water temperatures up to 250°F. The pump incorporates flush seal line taps and a rear pullout design to facilitate maintenance.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured for 230-460V, 3PH power and utilizes a NEMA 182 JM frame with mounting feet. The motor meets premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit functions in 40°C ambient temperatures with counter-clockwise rotation and carries a DOE PEI value of 0.89. Standard features include pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
