This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F. The impeller has an 11-1/4" nominal diameter and the unit does not include a wear ring. The bearing frame design includes sealed-for-life bearings and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor Super E Premium Efficiency motor. The motor is an ODP, NEMA T frame, size 286, configured for 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and includes a Woods coupler and a standard coupler guard. This equipment meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards with a 40°C ambient temperature rating and standard counter-clockwise rotation. The unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
