This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge. The unit includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft protected by a bronze shaft sleeve. It is constructed with a dry shaft design and ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump uses a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing incorporates center-line discharge and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP WEG motor in an ODP enclosure, NEMA frame 184T, operating at 3450 RPM. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and utilizes across the line starting. This assembly includes a welded base with an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a standard coupler guard. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump operates in a 40°C ambient environment with a DOE PEI value of 0.88.
