This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing includes suction and discharge pressure tappings and flush seal line taps.
This unit operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and NEMA 213 T-frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 PH with an Across the Line starting option and CCW rotation. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler for the drive connection. The system is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature environment.
