This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the system fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. This unit is equipped with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is driven by a 2 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V, 3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor is built on a 145 JM frame style with feet and meets NEMA standards. The assembly operates at a 40 °C ambient temperature and complies with MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. This unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.83.
