This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It includes a bronze wear ring and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent circulating fluid from contacting the shaft and incorporates gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor. It is configured in a NEMA 215 T-frame with a TEFC enclosure and operates on 230-460/60/3 PH power. The unit utilizes across-the-line starting and meets NEMA Premium efficiency standards, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The pump is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI value of 0.93.
