This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 2-1/2" suction connection, and a 1-1/2" discharge connection. The unit utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a dry shaft design and a bronze wear ring to maintain hydraulic performance. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation in temperatures up to 250 °F.
The pump is powered by a 3 HP, 1750 RPM, TEFC Baldor motor in a 182T NEMA frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 with across-the-line starting and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and is provided with an OSHA-compliant coupler guard and a Woods coupler. This equipment maintains a 40 °C ambient rating and has a PEI value of 0.85.
