This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. Construction consists of a cast iron casing, a stainless steel shaft, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal utilizes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump assembly incorporates a dry shaft design and is equipped with greasable bearings.
The system is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH operation on a NEMA 324T frame. The motor operates at 1750 RPM and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupling connects the pump to the driver, supporting across the line starting. This equipment meets the NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standard and has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
