This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 6" suction and 5" discharge connections, designed with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided at both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP WEG motor with an ODP enclosure and NEMA 254 T-frame, operating at 1150 RPM. Electrical requirements are 230-460V/60/3 PH with across-the-line starting. This configuration includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards at a 40 °C ambient temperature. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupler connects the pump to the motor.
