This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and is housed in a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. The unit incorporates a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve, utilizing a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor on a NEMA 213T frame. The electrical configuration includes a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with across the line starting and a 40 °C ambient rating. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler for the drive connection. This unit has a DOE PEI of 0.88.
