This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring inside a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact. The mechanical seal consists of a Ni-Resist seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located on both suction and discharge connections, and the casing includes flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP, 230-460/60/3 Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and NEMA 213T frame. It utilizes a Woods coupler and is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan. This unit features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The configuration is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature with a DOE PEI of 0.86 and supports across-the-line starting.
