This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge connection, both using ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft design to prevent contact with the pumped fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250 °F.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 184 T-frame enclosure. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with across the line starting. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump and motor are mounted on a welded structural steel base equipped with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard over a Woods coupler. The system maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
