This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing is equipped with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP WEG Premium Efficiency TEFC motor in a NEMA 326 frame. It is configured for 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a standard coupler guard. This unit utilizes a Power Frame size J for speeds exceeding 1750 RPM, complies with EISA standards, has a DOE PEI of 0.9, and maintains a HI Energy Rating of 10.
