This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with an integrated bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. It is equipped with a mechanical seal comprising a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for clean water applications up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 30 HP Baldor motor in a 286TS NEMA frame. The motor features a TEFC enclosure, is wired for 230-460/60/3, and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. Additional features include AEGIS shaft grounding and a greasable bearing frame. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is connected via a Woods flexible coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant guard. The equipment complies with a DOE PEI value of 0.95.
