This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. This unit is configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges and does not include a wear ring. Standard features include pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, as well as flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP, TEFC, WEG premium efficiency motor in a NEMA 256 T-frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power and across the line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.91.
