This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact with circulating fluid and includes flush seal line taps for particle filtration. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design enables maintenance without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists in venting and piping alignment.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP WEG motor. The motor is a TEFC enclosure, NEMA frame 213 JM with feet, configured for 230-460/60/3 power supply. It meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The unit utilizes an across the line starting option, functions in a 40 °C ambient temperature, and is set for counter-clockwise rotation. The system achieves a PEI of 0.84.
