This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter, a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design with a slip-on shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. It is equipped with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
This pump is configured with a 20 HP Baldor motor in a JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM and features a TEFC enclosure. The motor is rated for 230-460/60/3 power supply, 40 °C ambient temperature, NEMA standard, and CCW rotation. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This model utilizes an across the line starting option and has a DOE PEI of 0.89.
