This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing with integrated mounting feet and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft fitted with a stainless steel shaft sleeve. The unit is configured with a mechanical seal featuring a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. The design incorporates a dry shaft construction to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP WEG motor with a TEFC enclosure in a NEMA 256T frame. The electrical system is configured for 380/60/3 power with an across-the-line starting option and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler to connect to the motor. This equipment meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a PEI rating of 0.88.
